In this modern world, people don’t like to waste their time traveling for long hours to reach their destination. So aircraft companies where dare to take their passenger at the speed of sound or above that. Here comes the new term call ‘supersonic transport’. But taking the passengers at the speed of sound was not an easy task for the engineers.
At this time a creative designer from Russia name Alekey Tupolev came with a design of a supersonic passenger jet and named it Tupolev Tu -144. This marvel machine came into service in 1968. On 31 December 1968, she knew the taste of the sky for the first time. after 1999 she got retired.
So to know more about supersonic transport let fly to Europe. Even they were also fascinated by supersonic jets so they introduced a supersonic passenger jet called Concorde where she could fly at twice the speed of sound.

On 2nd March 1969 she hopped for the first time to the sky, and on 24 Oct 2003, she was forced to retire from the service.
So the reason behind the stop of these two machines was,
1. Due to the cost of fly
2. Noisy
3. Pollution chunk of aluminum
People started to think that flying above the speed of sound was not safe after the accident of the Concorde. So people started to find some other sources for time-consuming travel like hyperloop and much more.
Since we love and live aviation many companies like Vigin , Boeing, Spike
Aerospace, aerion supersonic, and boom supersonic came up with old school ideas with new technologies.
So we are now zooming towards those companies who had already released their prototype.
